Continuing Medical Education (CME) in Obstetrics & Gynecology

CME for Authors

First and second authors of articles are eligible to receive 10 Category 1 credits per article for one article per year. Authors should submit a title page to the respective group that will be responsible for providing credits (ACOG or American Medical Association). Guidelines are posted on the ACOG web site (www.acog.org).

CME for Reviewers

Reviewers who are ACOG Fellows will automatically be awarded three Category l credits per review for a maximum of five reviews yearly. Those who are not ACOG Fellows will receive e-mail documentation approximately 1 month after completion of the review, which can be submitted to an accrediting body for credits.

CME for Readers

Readers of Obstetrics & Gynecology can earn continuing medical education (CME) credits for the Clinical Expert Series articles listed below. For instructions on completing the quiz, click here.

The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) designates this educational activity for a maximum of 2 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM or up to a maximum of 2 category 1 ACOG cognate credits. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
